Dr. Hannah grew up in a small town in southwest Louisiana. This is where she developed her strong love for animals. She was particularly fascinated with horses, and equally fascinated with doctors and their healing powers. It’s not surprising that when she met her first veterinarian, she was left star struck, and it was at that very moment she discovered her true calling, even at a very young age.

Her interests in veterinary medicine are as broad as the profession. She loves the perfect mix of science and animals and she has a special interest in making sure both the animal and his or her human are as calm and comfortable as possible for the veterinary visit. Throughout her career she’s learned that often the setting of the exam room and the typical veterinary business model is quite stressful for animals and those animals are often very sick. Changing that environment to the home can make a huge difference in the animal’s perception of the veterinary visit.

She received her bachelor’s and master’s degree from McNeese State University, and Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from St. Georges University of Veterinary Medicine with her clinical year spent at Louisiana State University.

She shares four dogs and eight chickens that she loves dearly. Her daily life is centered around her animals, which is true for many people, and her goal is to become a trusted advocate for your family members who cannot tell you where it hurts.

There is no bigger honor for her than being able to call herself an animal doctor.
